The Management Institute of Canada (MIC) is a postgraduate Institute of Education offering online and On Campus programs in management and business administration with flexible schedules. Programs offered are:

 

Ø      MBA (Master in Business Administration)

Ø      E-MBA (Executive Master in Business Administration)

Ø      MPA (Master in Public Administration)

Ø      BBA (Bachelor Business Administration)

Ø      Certificate Program in Business, Accounting and Management

Ø      Language (ESL and TESL)

 

The MIC BBA Program is a 128 -credit degree offered which includes 50 credits for general education, 45 credits for required courses and 30 credits for major/minor courses. Three majors are offered, in Management, Human Resource Management and Marketing.

 

The MIC MBA Degree Program is a 69-credit degree offered over a 16-month period (15 courses) and a research project which runs over 4 months. Five majors are offered: Accounting, Marketing, Management, Operation management, and Information systems. 

 

Mission

Our mission is to provide educational and training opportunities for individuals (working, self-employed, unemployed, high school graduates) by offering flexible schedules for short and long term credit and non-credit courses through the convenience of distance education.
MIC offers both Onsite and Online programs.

Objectives

MIC Distance Learning and Onsite programs offer a career-oriented education. Its objectives are:

1. To provide opportunities for life-long learning through distance education.
2.   To assist individuals in developing their education strategy.
3.  To initiate, plan, design and offer outstanding university programs to individuals using the distance education delivery mode.
4.   To provide human resources development in consultation and collaboration with stakeholders (government, employers, prospective learners).
5.   To conduct research and disseminate research information.
6.  To develop and promote distance education strategies worldwide.
7.   To prepare graduates for an ever-changing environment, where critical thinking, creativity and knowledge are vital to succeed.

Distance Learning and Onsite Program

Today all almost two thirds of all MBAs and MPAs are earned online by part-time or distance-learning students who are looking to increase their marketability, qualify for career advancement opportunities, change careers or start their own business.

MIC is offering Online and Onsite qualified programs in Business, Management, Public Administration, Accounting and Software Engineering with flexible schedules for busy working adults. With the MIC Online Program, you can earn your degree from the convenience of your home or office

Today almost every western university or Institute provides an off-site Distance Learning program available to applicants, regardless of their age, country of residence or physical limitation.

Initially off-site degree programs were developed mostly for disabled individuals who were not able to physically appear on campus. But, today, On-line degrees are offered to all, whether students or professionals and from all nations.
 

 

Real Degrees 

One question often asked is: Can a real degree be earned through Distance Learning ? The answer is yes. A degree earned from a qualified institute or university is absolutely real no matter where it is earned.

During the course of your studies in a Distance Learning program, you will experience as much, if not more, intensive learning than a campus student would trudging in an out of old buildings with a bag full of books over the shoulder.

With multiple papers due and many planned hours of study, there is no doubt that those students who earn their degrees in a Distance Learning program deserve their degree. The majority of students who study at a school, where Distance Learning is offered, will find that sometimes their workload is greater than that of the average student who can rely on lectures and handouts for resources.

Degree delivering at MIC
 

Students at MIC receive degrees in MBA and BBA from the IAU Campus in Los Angles. Only this Campus is delivering degrees at MIC. IAU is the American International University (www.iau.la).

IAU is licensed and legally authorized by the State Department of California, USA, to deliver Degrees at the Graduate and Post Graduate level. IAU is affiliated with MIC.
 

The MIC office located in the province of Quebec does not deliver degrees.

 

IAU is approved by the Bureau for Private, Postsecondary and Vocational Education for the State of California (BPPVE). The Bureau approves schools to operate and to offer educational programs under the Department of Consumer Affairs. The approval process is designed to ensure that institutions meet certain academic standards and deliver the quality of education promised in their promotional materials.
