Dutch Delta University (DDU).

 


 

MIC BBA Program

 

Combined North American – European Program

 

Academic year 2009-2010

Starting date: January 2009

 

General information:

 

The BBA program consist of 3 periods:

 

1.     Freshman, 80 credits

2.     Advanced, 80 credits

3.     Intensive, 80 credits.

 

The study load of the program is 240 credits.

 

The study load of each credit is between 20 and 30 hours (the average is 25 hours).

The duration of the BBA study is: 240 credits  x  25 hours = 6000 hours

For motivated students the BBA study takes: 3 years. (2000 hours a year; 45 weeks, per week 45 hours study (including lectures). Most students, however, will study 4 years.

 

Total lectures in 1 year is: 480

Self study, project education and joining discussing groups:  1520 hours in one year.

In the academic year 2009 the holidays are:

 

-          Christmas time:      1 week

-          Holiday in May:       1 week

-          Summer holiday:    4 weeks

-          Holiday in autumn: 1 week

  

 

The BBA program:

In the academic year 2009 there is no freedom for students to choose their elective courses.
