International Assembly for Collegiate Business
Education (IACBE)
IACBE is a US accreditation
body specializing in higher business education. By
rigorously assessing learning outcomes and by
measuring educational effectiveness, it seeks to
uphold and improve quality business programs worldwide

IACBE is a Specialized Accrediting Body
for Business & Business-Related Degree Programs
at the Baccalaureate and Graduate Degree Levels
in Colleges and Universities. IACBE measures the
effectiveness of
Business Education through Outcomes Assessment.

The
goal IACBE is to to "promote and support quality
Business/Management Education worldwide through
accreditation and outcomes assessment which involves:
(1) the measurement of effectiveness, (2) the
measurement of learning outcomes, and (3) the
identification of changes and improvements that are
needed as a result of the assessment activity."
MIC is a member of IACBE.

European Council for
Business Education (ECBE) is a European accreditation
organization based in
Switzerland
with around 100 institutional members in Europe and
elsewhere in the world. MIC is a member of ECBE.
Degree
delivering:
Students at MIC receive degrees in MBA, MPA and BBA from
MIC partners in North America or Europe. Currently
the IAU Campus in California, Los Angles is delivering Degrees to the MIC
Students. But Other partners are, and will be, involved in issuing Degrees
for MIC. Only our Campuses and partners are delivering degrees at MIC. They
are licensed and legally authorized for issuing Degrees.
The MIC office located in the province of Quebec
does not deliver degrees.
IAU is the American International University (www.iau.la).
IAU is licensed and legally
authorized by the State Department of California, USA, to deliver Degrees at
the Graduate and Post Graduate level.
IAU is affiliated with MIC.
IAU is approved by the Bureau for
Private, Postsecondary and Vocational Education for the State of California
(BPPVE). The Bureau approves schools to operate and to offer educational
programs under the Department of Consumer Affairs. The approval process is
designed to ensure that institutions meet certain academic standards and
deliver the quality of education promised in their promotional materials.

CADE (the
Canadian Association for Distance Education) is a
national organization of professionals committed to
excellence in the provision of distance education in
Canada.
The Canadian Association for Distance Education is
the voice for Canada's distance education
communities. The Association will sustain a
bilingual organization through its Board of
Directors, membership and planned activities.
MIC is a
member of CADE.
Affiliation to AIBD
AIBD is created by UNESCO, as an Inter-Government
Asian Media Organization
The Asia-Pacific Institute for Broadcasting
Development (AIBD) is a unique regional
inter-governmental organisation servicing countries
of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission
for Asia and the Pacific (UN-ESCAP) in the field of
electronic media development.
It is hosted by the Government of Malaysia.

UNESCO
established AIBD as a UN (United
Nations) project initially with 13 member
countries. The Agreement Establishing the AIBD was
formally concluded on 12 August 1977 in Kuala Lumpur
with Malaysia endorsed as the host country for the
Institute. Funding came from voluntary Members,
UNESCO and international donor communities.
MIC has recently
become an AIBD affiliated member.
MIC is creating an MBA in Media and Communication
for AIBD to be launched in Asia.
MIC is also a member of IADL (International
Association for Distance
Learning), based in the UK. IADL was established to
promote quality in distance education and training,
and to provide approval and recognition of open and
distance learning programs and their providers.
